CPC31020 – Certificate III in Solid Plastering
This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering for residential and commercial work. The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as the specialist field of work, solid plastering. Solid plasterers apply plaster, cement and other mixtures to walls to create smooth or decorative finishes to interior walls and to render to exterior walls. Occupational titles may include:

The further study pathways available to students who undertake this qualification include CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or any other higher-level qualifications in building and construction |
Pathways to Employment |
Once students have successfully completed CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, they can apply for jobs within the construction industry which can include residential and commercial work in solid plastering. |
Assessment is based on competency, that is the ability to perform specific skills and is done through a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, tests, examinations, and/or practical application and work related projects.
A total of 20 Units (15 Core and 5 electives) must be completed and deemed competent to achieve the qualification CPC31020 – Certificate III in Solid Plastering. Participants who achieve competency in any unit/s will receive a Statement of Attainment (provided USI is verified) for that unit/s without completing all the units in the qualification. Students completing all the required units of competency will attain full qualification.
