Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this Qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment. Candidates may choose to undertake AUR50216 Diploma of Automotive Technology or other relevant qualifications. |

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

A total of 36 Units (20 Core and 16 electives) must be completed and deemed competent to achieve the qualification AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Participants who achieve competency in any unit/s will receive a Statement of Attainment (provided USI is verified) for that unit/s without completing all the units in the qualification. Students completing all the required units of competency will attain full qualification.
